Program Curriculum

Six Weeks. A Clear Arc from Data to Behavior Change.

Each week builds on the last. Employees go from wearing a CGM and observing their data to making durable changes grounded in their own biology.

WEEK 01 Getting Glucose-Aware

Employees apply their CGM sensor and get their first look at real-time glucose data. The foundational lessons cover what continuous glucose monitoring shows, why blood sugar variability matters far beyond diabetes, and how to read a glucose graph. Most participants are surprised by what they see.

WEEK 02 Food & Blood Sugar

The Spike-Proof Plate Framework is introduced. Employees learn the meal architecture that reduces post-meal spikes without eliminating food groups. Lessons cover carbohydrate sequencing, the role of protein and fiber, and how to evaluate common workplace meals. The Spike-Check Field Guide is delivered this week.

WEEK 03 Sleep, Stress & the CGM

This is where participants often have the biggest insights. Sleep deprivation and chronic stress both elevate fasting glucose and worsen insulin sensitivity — and now employees can see it in their own data. Lessons cover the cortisol-glucose connection, practical sleep hygiene, and how to use the CGM as a stress biofeedback tool.

WEEK 04 Movement as Medicine

A short walk after a meal can reduce a post-meal glucose spike by up to 30%. Employees explore how different types and timing of physical activity affect their data, and learn practical strategies that do not require a gym. The focus is on embedding movement into a real workday, not adding a training regimen.

WEEK 05 Reading Your Patterns

By now employees have five weeks of their own glucose data. This week focuses on interpreting longer-term trends: identifying personal trigger foods, evaluating improvements since Week 1, and building a personal metabolic profile. Participants learn how to use this data going forward without needing a CGM continuously.

WEEK 06 Building Habits That Last

The final week transitions employees from sensor-dependent feedback to durable habits. Lessons cover habit stacking, how to maintain improvements without ongoing CGM use, and how to use periodic CGM check-ins to course-correct. A bonus module on long-term metabolic health is unlocked on completion.

Data & Privacy

What HR Gets — and What Stays Private

We designed the program specifically so that employers never see individual health data. Here is how it works.

Employees own their glucose data
CGM readings stay in the employee's personal app account. The employer never has access to individual biometric data — only aggregate course completion rates.
Completion data is the only employer-visible metric
HR receives a report showing enrollment numbers, lesson completion rates, and program engagement — nothing tied to individual health.
No HIPAA complexity
Because we do not collect, transmit, or store Protected Health Information on behalf of the employer, there is no HIPAA business associate agreement required on the employer side.

Employees trust the program because it is genuinely theirs.

The research on workplace wellness programs is clear: participation drops sharply when employees suspect their health data is being monitored by management. We built the program so that trust is never in question. Employees engage more openly, report more honestly, and get better results because the data belongs to them alone.

89%
of employees say they would engage more fully with a wellness program that kept their health data private from their employer

Questions About the Program

The most common questions from HR and benefits teams before launching.

No. The Abbott Lingo and several other over-the-counter CGM devices are available without a prescription for adults in the United States. Employees can purchase them online or at pharmacies. The program is compatible with most major OTC continuous glucose monitors.
Employees with diabetes or other metabolic conditions may participate, but they should do so under the guidance of their healthcare provider. The program is educational in nature and does not replace medical care. Employees in this situation should inform their doctor before making dietary or lifestyle changes based on CGM data.
Yes. The program is self-paced and available on-demand. Employees can start on any day and progress through the six weeks on their own schedule. There is no fixed cohort start date, which makes rolling enrollment easy.
The CGM sensor (~$89–$99 per employee for the program period) is the only cost not included in the program fee. Employers handle this however fits their benefits structure: purchase sensors directly and ship to employees, reimburse employees upon program completion, allow employees to use HSA/FSA funds, or offer a wellness stipend. We can advise on which approach works best for your organization.
Minimal. Once employees are enrolled, the program runs itself. You receive a completion report at the end of the program period. There is no ongoing monitoring, check-ins, or platform management required on the employer side.
The program is designed to scale. We work with teams as small as 10 employees and organizations with 10,000+. Group pricing is available and tiered by volume. Contact us for a custom quote based on your expected enrollment.
